Friday, March 16th!

We are now working on a mural for Building 16 room 158. People who are already involved in the process and anyone else interested in being involved, please bring in at least 2 sketches of images you want to incorporate into the mural, by this Friday(the 16th) so we can start working on them. Also this Friday, Michael Walker, business director at the Art Institute of Seattle, is stopping by with a few words, just fyi. :) thanks and see you soon!

  Description

  Make two personalized Valentine cards, everyone will pick a number and receive a couple pieces of awesome original artwork! Any medium of artwork is fine, and everyone is invited! Bring a friend, and have your appetites ready; pizza and snacks for everyone! It's gonna be a blast, with activities, music, and some pretty cool art. Welcome Back!

Hey everybody, it's been a pretty hectic week with the awesome freaky weather and no school. Fridays at 2:00pm(Building 16 Rm.158) the Design Club meets, as of the start of Winter Quarter 2012, but since we were not able to meet this last week(the 20th), the club page will be providing additional instruction and inspiration until this coming Friday the 27th. April 22nd - Chris McInerney

Chris McInerney from Blend Seattle, a prestigious local design firm will give a presentation about his story - how he got from a student at the Art Institute to now owning a design firm with a 30+ year history.

Blend is a full service agency mixing classic design with new technology. Award winning branding, packaging, interactive and event graphics.

Starts at 10am Friday, April 22nd till he's talked out. It'll be in the midst of the Business class, and in the computer lab, but all are welcome.
